Terms

These terms apply when you buy from or use the LumoRetrac website, apps and settings packs. By buying, you agree to them. They're written to be fair and easy to read.

1. Who we are

“LumoRetrac”, “we” and “us” mean LumoRetrac, an independent creator based in New Zealand. LumoRetrac isnot affiliated with or endorsed by Epic Games or the Project Retrac team. Fortnite is a trademark of Epic Games.

2. Buying

  • One-time payments. Nothing is a subscription. You pay once and keep what you bought.
  • Prices are in US dollars. Your bank may convert them and charge its own fees. Where the law requires it, tax may be added at checkout.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers.
  • Under 18? Please ask a parent or guardian before buying. By buying you confirm you're 18 or over, or that a parent or guardian is OK with the purchase.
  • Your licence key and download appear right after payment, and we email them to you. They're always in My products.

3. Your licence

When you buy an app (Refine, Refine Ultimate, ColorChanger or Quality), you get a personal licence to use it:

  • On one PC at a time. You can move it to a new PC up to 2 times per calendar month, from the app or from My products. Moving signs the old PC out.
  • It doesn't expire. Updates to the product you bought are included at no extra cost for as long as we offer them.
  • It's for you. You can't sell, share, rent or give away your key.
  • Settings packs are downloads for your own use. Please don't re-upload or resell them.

4. Fair use

Please don't:

  • share, publish or resell licence keys or downloads;
  • crack, bypass or tamper with the licence check, or copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the apps (except where the law allows it);
  • use our site or apps to break the law or harm others.

If a key is shared or abused, we may turn it off. We'll always try to talk to you first through the Discord or your purchase email.

5. Using the software

  • Results vary by PC. FPS and input-delay improvements depend on your hardware, Windows setup and the game. We don't promise exact numbers.
  • Refine changes Windows settings. Every change it makes is recorded and can be undone from inside the app. Changes marked as risky stay off unless you turn them on, and come with a warning.
  • Project Retrac and Fortnite are run by other people. We can't control their rules, servers or anti-cheat, and we're not responsible if they change something or take action on your account.
  • The apps check your licence online now and then and work offline for up to 14 days in between. Our privacy policy explains what's sent.

6. Refunds and chargebacks

See the Refund policy. In short: if a product doesn't work on your PC and we can't fix it, you can get a refund within 14 days. If you open a chargeback (dispute) with your bank instead, the licence keys from that order are turned off while it's sorted out.

7. Our responsibility

We build our products carefully and test them, but no software is perfect. To the extent the law allows, we provide them “as is”, and our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid for the product involved. We aren't responsible for indirect losses, like lost game progress or time.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law. If you're a consumer in New Zealand, that includes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986. If you live somewhere else, your local consumer laws may also protect you.
