Refund policy
Last updated 4 November 2026. Written in plain English: if anything's unclear, open a ticket in the Discord.
The short version
If something you bought doesn't work on your PC and we can't fix it, you get your money back, as long as you ask within 14 days of buying. Most problems are fixed quickly in a Discord ticket, so start there.
When you can get a refund
- Apps (Refine, Refine Ultimate, ColorChanger, Quality): if the app won't run or doesn't work properly on your PC, and our support can't get it working.
- Settings packs: if the download is broken or doesn't match what was described. Because they're files you keep, we can't refund a pack just because you changed your mind.
- Upgrades (Refine Pro → Ultimate): if Ultimate's extra features don't work for you. Your key goes back to Refine Pro, which you still own.
- Bought by mistake (for example, the same thing twice): tell us within 14 days and we'll sort it out.
We usually can't refund because results were smaller than hoped (results vary by PC), or after 14 days. The law may still give you a remedy; see the last section.
How to ask
- Open a ticket in the LumoRetrac Discord.
- Include your order number (it's in your receipt email and in My products) and what's going wrong.
- We'll try to fix it first. If we can't, we'll refund you.
What happens next
- Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with. Depending on your bank, it can take 5 to 10 days to show up.
- The licence keys from that order are turned off, and the app stops working at its next check. For a refunded upgrade, your key goes back to Refine Pro.
- You'll get an email to confirm the refund.
- Please don't open a chargeback with your bank before talking to us: it's slower for you, and the keys are turned off while it's open.
Your rights by law
This policy doesn't limit your legal rights. In New Zealand, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 says products must be of acceptable quality and do what they're meant to do; if they don't, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund whatever our policy says. If you live elsewhere, your local consumer laws may give you similar rights.
